Meet Me @ Metro

The Watts Village Theatre Company along with Long Beach’s Found Theater, the Long Beach Theater Arts Collective (LBTAC) and other local performing arts organizations present a second year of Meet Me @ Metro. This resourceful program will use the Metro Blue Line as a mobile venue that transports theatergoers to Downtown Long Beach and back while they are entertained with public art performances in 10-minute chunks. This year’s theme is “traveling circus” complete with acting, singing, dancing and puppetry planned at every stop along the line. This sideshow will celebrate the diversity of Long Beach (and South Los Angeles) in a way like never before. Found’s Cirque de Stupide will be at the 5th Street station and the LBTAC will be “clowning” around at Promenade Park off of the Transit Mall station.
